Campbell, California

This installation consists of four pillars that are on either end of a bridge in Campbell. They tell the history of what used to be a farming community. Cherries, Walnuts, Apricots and Plums…how they were picked. dried and preserved; scenes carved in relief show pickers, orchards, drying racks, railroad tracks and carts, and more. The history of Campbell is carved in relief on all four sides of each 6’ tall pillar, with varying textures, which offer a tactile surface to be explored.

Indiana Limestone, 4 pillars each 6’ x 2’ x 2’ mounted on plinths.
